The town of Einsiedeln, picturesquely situated at the foot of the Alps, surrounded by heaths, located not far from the largest water reservoir in the basin - Lake Sihl, is a unique destination. It is also a center of Marian pilgrimage in Switzerland, with a Benedictine abbey dating back to the 10th century.

How to get there?
You can reach Einsiedeln by train from Zurich. Journey takes around 50 minutes. Pilgrims to the sanctuary often choose to march – taking the Way of St. Jacob from Rapperrswil, they reach Einsiedeln in about 5 hours.
